Job Description

Power Industry Support, LLC is actively recruiting a Sales Representative for Washington, Oregon & Northern California. The company is a 100% Employee-Owned entity that specializes in the sales and service of all pressure vessels, combustion equipment and controls. The company has a team of experienced and dedicated employee-owners who provide a wealth of knowledge and expertise to a variety of industry segments including power industry, agriculture, food processing, hospitals, manufacturing, forestry products, oil and gas, petrochemical, and many others.

Salary Range: $80K – $110K + Commission

The hiring company does not provide sponsorship at this time.

Experience / Knowledge:

Required:

  1. 3-5 years experience in the Boiler, Steam and/or Combustion Field
  2. 1-2 years estimating and quoting
  3. General working proficiencies in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desired:

  1. 5 years of previous hands on boiler making, controls, instrumentation and/or heavy mechanical experience.
  2. Proficient in reading of engineering documents, complex drawings, and/or P&ID’s
  3. Capital project sales and/or project management experience.

High Level Job Description:

  1. Primary objective will be to sell service, repair, and maintenance agreements by evaluating and assessing the customers technical needs and provide thorough engineered solutions to consistently meet or exceed customers technical and process needs.
  2. Secondary focus supporting key customers on Superior & Webster equipment, parts, or other boiler ancillary / related equipment.
  3. Visit 2 (two) to 4 (four) new or existing customers per week, which are to be documented weekly to the Branch Manager.
  4. Be responsible for producing your own quotes including:
    1. Detailed scope of work.
    2. Secondary sub vendor / subcontractor quotes in support of quote.
    3. Specific job / equipment terms and conditions.
  5. Bring in new customers by establishing new relationships that the company has not previously had prior relations with.
  6. Learn and actively use Service Trade or business management software currently in place.
  7. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with all clients.
  8. Track, maintain and update your leads, contacts and opportunities per the method given by the Branch Manager or Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
  9. Properly qualify and identify probable leads within the assigned territory as per the provided Territory map.
